Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care. You will apply the nursing process and collaborate with the health care team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The role requires current Michigan RN licensure, BLS or ACLS per policy, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Bachelor's degree preferred; ambulatory orientation completed; strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
• Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
• Preferred experience in the specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
• Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
