Job summary

Baptist South in Jacksonville seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Neuro PCU Days. RN experience in Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care is preferred, with a background in progressive care. New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus and the role requires leadership in patient care planning.

Qualifications

Baptist South is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Neuro PCU Days. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care background.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.*Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.

As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred:

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
