Powers Health is seeking a Staff RN for Community Hospital Neuroscience Critical Care. This full-time position involves night/evening 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. The role requires the nursing process delivery, documentation, and maintaining a safe patient environment.

Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited nursing program with Indiana licensure and CPR certification, and completion of required orientation programs. Ongoing certification as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Indiana nursing licensure is required.
• CPR certification and any required specialty certifications must be maintained.
• Completion of Community Healthcare System orientation programs is required.

• Provide and document nursing care following the nursing process.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY:

The Staff RN is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. The nurse practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of Powers Health by providing the highest quality care in the most cost efficient manner. The RN provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• Successful completion of The Community Healthcare System’s Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
• Obtains and maintains current certification as required in specialty areas.
• Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
