Job summary

Powers Health is seeking a Staff RN to implement, direct, communicate and document the nursing process, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. You will work in alignment with established standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and Healthcare System policies while upholding the organization’s values of dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Indiana licensure, CPR, and preferably a BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• BSN preferred.
• Obtains and maintains current certification as required in specialty areas.
• Obtains and maintains current CPR.

The Staff RN is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. The nurse practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Healthcare System policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of Powers Health by providing the highest quality care in the most cost-efficient manner. The RN provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Education/Experience:
