Qualifications

Requirements

• Skills: IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias, Med/Surg Neuro Experience.
• Certifications: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS (ACLS preferred).

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Working Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts
• Weekend Work: Required to work every other weekend
• Floating: Required to float to other MS/Tele areas, including COVID care units

Patient Diagnoses

Primarily caring for stroke patients, with additional care for neurosurgery, epilepsy, and subdural hematomas.

Special Procedures/Unit Details

Includes a 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). Training provided for EMU as needed.
