Job Details

• Contract: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12‑hour nights; Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• Weekend Requirement: Fri/Sat/Sun.
• Target Ratios: 1:5-6 patients.
• Call and Float Requirements: Based on patient census.

Patient Diagnoses

Primary cardiac and stroke unit handling stable pre/post care for pacemaker implantation, cardiac catheterization, and more. Manage multiple drips like Cardiazem, Dopamine, Amiodarone.

Special Procedures / Unit Details

High patient turnover with support from a team lead for admissions and discharges. COVID‑positive patients managed with opti‑flow and BIPAP during surges.

Special Equipment

• Telemetry and pulse ox.
• High Flow O2 (stable).
• Non‑Rebreather Mask (palliative).
• BIPAP (chronic use only).

Unit Systems

• Pyxis, Dimensions (EPIC), SBAR.

Orientation and Uniform

• 36‑hour orientation; availability required for hospital orientation week.
