Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as an RN by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• If job is in The Kirklin Clinic: CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Interview patients, obtain physicals, provide patient education, determine initial diagnosis, and document care.
• Interact with patients, families, and health-care team while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Address the needs of patients from newborn to geriatric.
