Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to provide and manage patient care using the nursing process. You will interview patients, perform assessments, document findings and coordinate care with the health team.

You will educate patients and families, respond to the needs of diverse age groups from newborns to geriatrics, and uphold professional standards in a dynamic hospital environment with strong educational and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license in Alabama or eligibility required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; no substitution.
• CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days (for TKC location).

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage patient care using the nursing process.
• Interview patients, perform assessments, document findings.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain professional standards and age-appropriate care from newborn to geriatric.
