Job summary

Mercy South Float Pool in St. Louis offers Registered Nurse opportunities on a full-time or part-time basis with the versatility to work across multiple units, including Med/Surg, ICU, ED, and more.

Shifts include 12-hour options and 8-hour evenings, with competitive pay differentials and sign-on bonuses to fit your needs. Qualifications

• Experience: 1-2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• License: Current RN license in the state.
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association.
• Physical requirements: push/pull 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Float across multiple units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, ED, Behavioral Health, Oncology, Neurology.
• Provide patient care across units and adhere to unit protocols.
• Document care and communicate with care teams to ensure patient safety.

Sign-On Bonuses

Part-Time Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

We offer flexible sign-on bonus options to fit your needs:

• Flexible, No-Contract Option: Bonus paid in four equal installments at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months.
• Upfront Payment Option: Receive 50% at start and the remaining 50% at 6 months with a 2-year commitment.

Flexible Scheduling Options

• 12-hour shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM
• 8-hour evening shifts: 3 PM - 11 PM

Competitive Pay With Tiered Differentials

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials

• Evening: +$2.75/hr
• Night: +$4.60/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Qualifications

• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
