Job summary

StoneSprings Hospital Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in line with department requirements and state standards.

You will work with the care team to deliver compassionate care, documenting thoroughly and following nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Active RN license required.
• RN Diploma or equivalent required.
• Full-time night shift position.
• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex terminology.

Job Summary
