Job summary

Carrollton Regional Medical Center in the Dallas area seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with at least two years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative inpatient setting.

You will join an interdisciplinary team, manage complex monitoring, build relationships with patients and families, and support daily administrative and clinical tasks on 12-hour shifts, three days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Build patient relationships with patients and families in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians including physicians, dietitians, social workers and PCTs to deliver high-quality care.
• Provide care for patients with multiple co-morbidities and participate in monitoring and observations.
• Work on 12-hour shifts, typically 3 days per week; some holidays and weekends required.

Position responsibilities:

• Build patient relationships. Build meaningful relationships with patients and their family in an intimate inpatient setting.
• A team that feels and functions like a family. Registered Nurses are a central part of our interdisciplinary team of clinicians. Work alongside and support patient care technicians, other nurses, dietitians, social workers, physicians and more.

• Specialized, complex care. RNs deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge.
• Fast paced. Our Registered Nurses care for a group of patients ranging in different levels of acuity with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and provide high quality care. You will work with your head, heart and hands each day.
• Schedule. Shifts are typically 12 hours, 3 days per week. Some holidays and weekends are required.
