Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center—Milton offers a 36-hour work week on a busy medical-surgical telemetry unit. You’ll deliver patient-centered care under RN supervision, utilizing the Nursing Process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• BLS by the American Heart Association before hire; ACLS required for Critical Care Units.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process: assess health status, analyze data, plan and implement care, evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition for patients.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies; participate in QA activities and training.
