Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical units. This full-time role offers day and night shifts with a 3 x 12-hour schedule and positions across Bridgton, Rumford, and the main center.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate and eligibility for sign-on bonuses. The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, and oversee patient/family education while adhering to standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained (preferred).
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results and symptoms.
