Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced RN to join the Float Pool on a night shift schedule (PRN). You will provide direct patient care in a diverse acute care setting, update care plans, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to achieve safe, patient-centered outcomes.

• Coordinates interdisciplinary care to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.




• Executes physician and nursing orders while prioritizing and managing patient care needs across varying assignments and acuity levels.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.




• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• 12+ months of direct care experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
