Incredible Health hospitals in St. Helena, CA are actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg.

This role welcomes nurses with experience in cardiac, oncology, orthopedics, and other specialties, and offers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, administer medications, monitor vitals, contribute to discharge planning, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in California.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, medical-surgical preferred.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Proficient in EMR systems and patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and implement care plans as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on chronic and acute disease management, post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac patients, Couplet care, EKG monitoring, Educator, Fundal massage, Healing, Neuro patients, Oncology patients, Orthopedic patients, Ostomy care, PCA pumps , Traction & cast care, Tube feeding management, or Wound & drain care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical or similar setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies
