Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Winchester, VA. The role covers diverse medical-surgical patients with opportunities for day, night, and mid shifts. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available.

Ideal candidates hold ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or similar setting. EMR proficiency and strong clinical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical settings.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician-directed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on chronic and acute disease management and post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of patient care per hospital and department policies.
