Incredible Health in Rahway, NJ is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - Med Surg. Nurses with experience in cardiac, oncology, orthopedic, wound care, and other med-surg areas are encouraged to apply.

Shifts include day, night, and mid; jobs available as full-time, part-time, or per diem. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care, administering medications, coordinating discharges, educating patients and families, and documenting care in EMR.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in med-surg or similar setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
