Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical floor to serve patients in the Washington, DC region. The role offers day, night, and mid shifts across full-time, part-time, and per diem options in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, current RN license, and BLS certification. A strong EMR background and solid clinical skills are required to provide safe, comprehensive care and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree and active RN license.
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably med-surg or similar setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement physician-directed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and assist with discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of care accurately in line with hospital policies.
