Registered Nurse Maternal Reviewer / Per Diem - Metropolitan Area (#25035)

Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience in pediatric, adolescent, or reproductive health care is preferred.

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse Maternal Reviewer to fill an opening with a non-profit organization located in New York.

Responsibilities of the Maternal Nurse Reviewer:

1. Complete all pre-review activities, including review of previous monitoring information and program documentation submitted.
2. Conduct hybrid monitoring activities, including review of patient records and billing, for all required components and time frames.
3. Perform site observations and staff interviews, noting any deficiencies.
4. Provide technical assistance to program personnel, where appropriate.
5. Complete data management tools to draft provider monitoring reports based on findings.
6. Track the status of documents and reviews in databases and shared platforms.

Requirements:

• Must be qualified and actively credentialed/registered in New York State (e.g., Registered Professional Nurse, Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience in pediatric, adolescent, or reproductive health care is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience reviewing charts for quality improvement or utilization review is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritize reviews and projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in standard office technology and Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to travel within the metropolitan area for on-site reviews, approximately 25 days per year.
