Job summary

Ascension is seeking an RN Manager for Labor & Delivery at St. Vincent's Southside in Jacksonville, FL. The role leads a clinical team, oversees hiring and mentorship, and drives operational and fiscal performance to deliver exceptional maternal and neonatal care.

You will develop policies to ensure patient safety and compliance while shaping staffing and equipment strategies to meet evolving department needs.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• Florida RN license required prior to hire date.
• 3 years Labor & Delivery RN experience; 1 year of cumulative leadership experience.
• RN Assistant Nurse Manager or RN Supervisory experience required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
• 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• RN Assistant Nurse Manager or RN Supervisory experience
