Ascension Health is seeking a Nursing Leadership role at Via Christi, St Peter in Derby, KS. You will lead the Critical Care - ICU and ED unit on day shift, ensuring top-tier care and staff development while managing budgets and regulatory requirements.

Requires active Kansas RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and 3 years nursing with 1 year of leadership. Tuition discounts and professional development opportunities accompany this role.

• Solve complex care challenges by identifying and resolving operational hurdles, directly improving the quality and safety of patient outcomes.

• Champion regulatory excellence by maintaining a culture of continuous compliance, ensuring our unit consistently meets the highest national standards of healthcare.

• Manage unit finances with a strategic eye, overseeing budgets and expenditures to ensure our team has the essential tools and supplies needed to save lives.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
