Job summary

Kindred Hospital Tarrant County Southwest is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive patient care within an LTAC setting. You will plan and deliver care using the nursing process, develop care plans with input from patients, families, and the care team, and communicate any changes to physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• RN with postsecondary nursing qualification (Required)
• ASN or BSN in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care via the nursing process.
• Develop and update patient care plans with the care team.
• Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and staff.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
• Provide teaching to patients and families.
• Supervise nursing staff and assign tasks as needed.
• Ensure safety and maintain thorough documentation.
