Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Current MA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treating wounds, and monitoring vital signs.
• Supervise CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Monitor the performance of CNAs/GNAs and provide education and counseling as needed.
• Disciplinary action as necessary, and complete performance evaluations.
• Participate in the maintenance and implementation of the Center's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Collaborate with other resident services to ensure that the resident's total regimen of care is maintained.
