Job summary

Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing at Southgate is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident’s care plan. You will work under supervision while supporting residents’ daily needs and comfort.

The role requires an active CNA license in Massachusetts, ability to read and write English, and a collaborative, compassionate approach to resident care in a busy nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be licensed Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant as per state laws.
• Must be able to provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident assessment and care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as directed by supervisors.
• Support a safe and caring environment and report changes to nursing staff.
• Follow policies, participate in continuing education and adhere to safety requirements.
