Job summary

Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing at Southgate in Massachusetts seeks an RN/LPN supervisor to lead daily nursing care and oversee CNAs/GNAs. You will monitor performance, provide education, and complete evaluations to assure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active nursing license (RN or LPN) in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices and facility regulations.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and work harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Provide education, counseling, and disciplinary action as necessary.
• Prepare performance evaluations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts’ services and activities and ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current.
• Coordinate with resident services to maintain the resident’s total care plan.
