Signature HealthCARE of Roanoke Rapids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 108-bed facility, providing direct nursing care, medication administration, wound care, and skilled procedures. You will supervise nursing assistants, coordinate admissions, and contribute to care plan development while maintaining high standards of comfort, dignity, and safety for residents.

Strong teamwork and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with ADLs and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift.
• Monitor and observe residents’ status; notify physician of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
