Job summary

Mission Point Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents and coordinate total nursing care in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, rounds, CNA supervision, and documentation in PCC. Candidates should hold MI RN licensure, CPR certification, and prefer 2 years in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop Care Plans.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Coordinate with physicians and unit managers.
• Perform rounds and supervise CNAs.
• Document care and reports in PCC and unit logs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate transport as needed.
• Promote resident rights and safety.
