Job summary

Mission Point Health Care in Michigan seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, coordinate total nursing care, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will perform duties such as assessments, care planning, medication administration, rounds with physicians, documentation, and supervision of CNAs, while maintaining residents’ rights and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop care plans with documentation in PCC.
• Perform rounds with physician, monitor symptoms, and adjust care as needed.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications per policies and physician orders.
• Advise residents and/or guardians about changes in medications and plans.
• Supervise CNAs and coordinate with DON, administrator and physicians.
• Complete and report resident injury and complete summaries as required.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and facility policies.
