Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Registered Nurse to uphold nursing standards in a Texas long-term care facility. You will oversee care across shifts, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure timely, accurate medication administration and documentation in the patient chart.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, good standing with the Nurse Registry, and strong knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations. Strong English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Active state RN license in Texas.
• In good standing as confirmed on Nurse Registry.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations pertaining to long-term care.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments within RN scope as prescribed by the physician and facility policy.
• Ensures nursing assistants deliver care within established time frames per policies.
• Co-responsible for narcotic counts and regulatory compliance.
• Documents medication and treatment administration accurately in the chart.
• Updates electronic documentation as required and maintains license compliance.
