CoxHealth South: 3801 S National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807 is seeking a Labor and Delivery nurse to care for women and neonates during labor and childbirth. You will provide family-centered nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages and work within a rotating shift schedule.

Qualified candidates hold Missouri RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, ACLS and NRP within one year, and possess strong communication, leadership, and multitasking skills to support high-quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS within 90 days; ACLS and NRP within one year of hire.

Responsabilités

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery nurse cares for women and neonates during labor and childbirth. They are responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating families throughout the birth process. The Labor and Delivery nurse provides comprehensive, family centered nursing care to mothers and neonates during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages of delivery. The Labor and Delivery nurse must be able to recognize complications and act quickly to stabilize the situation and communicate with the patient, family, and appropriate physicians and specialists.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration
