St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston seeks a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit. The role includes 24-hour shift coverage with day/night rotations and every third weekend/holiday rotation, delivering comprehensive nursing care and coordinating with the care team.
Required are an active Massachusetts RN license, and a nursing degree (Diploma/ASN/BSN; BSN within 4 years preferred). BLS/ACLS/NRP within specified timelines are expected, with EFM certification considered advantageous.

24Hours (Day/Night, Every Third Weekend / Holiday Rotation)
Deliver exceptional nursing care in the, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
Update and manage patient records
Enter and interpret computerized data/information
Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCHS
Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
Certification in basic life support (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life support(ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Intermediate or Advance Certification required within 8 weeks of hire.
2 years registered nurse experience
Labor and Delivery RN experience preferred
Experience with electronic health record preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
Fluency in another language a plus.

$39.80- $93.69
