Job summary

Las Palmas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to deliver direct patient care in a collaborative setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with families and the healthcare team, following hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications include RN licensure and completion of required certifications (ACLS, BLS, NRP) within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with RN credentials.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required within specified timeframes.
• Education: ADN or BSN or RN Diploma in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in Labor Delivery.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and health-care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Adhere to Las Palmas Medical Center policies and Texas Board of Nurse Examiners requirements.

Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Las Palmas Medical Center and the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans and the plan of care.What qualifications you will need:
