Overview

Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Toms River, NJ

Employment Type: Contract

Base pay range: $49.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide care for low and high-risk pregnancies
• Manage cases involving VBACs, primary and repeat cesareans
• Handle patients with conditions such as PIH, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes
• Work with a nurse/patient ratio of 1:2
• Float to mother-baby assignments as needed
• Utilize charting systems for patient documentation
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including working every 3rd weekend
• Complete required modules and training pre-start and annually
• Maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license
• Certifications: ACLS, ASHONN Beginner, BLS, NRP required
• AWHONN Advanced Or Intermediate Preferred
• Experience with patient charting systems preferred
