Job description

This role is offered by TALENT Software Services. The base pay is $85.00/hr - $90.00/hr depending on skills and experience.

Duties

• Provide care for high-risk obstetrics patients.
• Circulate during cesarean sections.
• Administer medications and manage labor and delivery processes.
• Support postpartum care and newborn assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.
• Participate in patient triage and use of external fetal monitoring.

Skills

• IV therapy and phlebotomy.
• Administration of blood products and maintaining central lines.
• Labor and delivery management including high-risk deliveries and C-sections.
• Proficient in Epic charting system.
• Neonatal care including APGAR scoring and newborn hypoglycemia management.
• Postpartum care including breastfeeding support and wound care.
• Fetal monitoring and recognition of abnormal heart rate patterns.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in labor and delivery.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:1-3.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
• Preferred experience in high-risk antepartum and facility births over 300 per month.
• Travel experience not required.
