Annual Budgeted Amount: $87,289.53
Nature of Work: Under the supervision of the appropriate Program Supervisor, this is the professional health services (school nurse) component of the pupil services team. Functions as liaison between the Anne Arundel County Department of Health, Anne Arundel County Public Schools, one or more designated schools, the student and his/her family, and the student's health care provider. Provides appropriate health services, supervision of delegated nursing tasks, counseling and resource referral to students, parents and staff at assigned schools during the school year.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
Two years as a registered nurse.
Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing. Driver’s License Required.
This position is based at an eligible Title I school as defined in the law and provides full-time nursing coverage for extended learning time and for all school-sponsored events.
Preference will be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
