Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, 1900-0730, weekend rotation, and a sign-on bonus of $25,000. The unit cares for neonates, requires NLN-certified grads, IL license, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000
• Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• Position: Registered Nurse – Infant Special Care Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
