Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Interventional Radiology in Detroit, MI. The role involves assisting radiologists during imaging and procedures, managing IV contrast, and coordinating patient care across the surgical continuum.

The ideal candidate will hold an ADN or higher, active RN license, and have BLS/ACLS certifications with familiarity in imaging safety and EMR systems. Day and night shifts with full- and part-time options are available.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing required.
• Active RN license required.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic imaging procedures and safety protocols.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other clinicians during diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and manage allergic reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide care before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits of radiologic tests.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
