Job summary

Incredible Health Hospitals in Lakewood Ranch, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology experience to assist radiologists during imaging and procedures. The role involves managing IV contrast, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency. Prior radiology or high-acuity care experience is preferred, with opportunities for ongoing education and care

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging exams and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing any allergic reactions or complications
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic procedures
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital policies
