Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Worcester, MA. You will assist radiologists during imaging and IR procedures, manage intravenous contrast, and support a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1 year of radiology/ICU experience, with BLS/ACLS and EMR proficiency. Great benefits and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care per hospital policies

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
