Job summary

Incredible Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Memphis, TN area. The role involves assisting radiologists during imaging and interventional procedures, managing IV contrast and adverse reactions, and coordinating patient care across the care team.

Requires ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and familiarity with radiology safety. Experience in radiology or high-acuity settings is preferred, plus EMR proficiency and patient education

Qualifications

• An ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging procedures and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and manage allergic reactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks/benefits of imaging tests.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing


• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license


• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred


• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association


• Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media


• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures


• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures


• Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
