Qualifications

  • Active NY RN license.
  • Minimum of 1 traveler assignment completed.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required (CCRN preferred).
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients.
  • Manage complex patient conditions requiring continuous monitoring and advanced interventions.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with intensivists and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer and titrate critical care medications and drips, including vasopressors, sedatives, insulin, and heparin.
  • Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
  • Rapidly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with hospital and nursing standards.
  • Common diagnoses: Sepsis, ARDS, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction, post-operative critical care, cardiac and neuro critical patients.
  • Ventilated and non-ventilated ICU patients.
  • Typical patient ratios: 1:1–2

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract assignment. Responsibilities

Demonstrated leadership, prioritization, and teamwork skills
