Job summary

Mercy seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, while upholding patient rights and confidentiality and coordinating with other departments to maintain Mercy Service Standards.

Required: graduation from a school of nursing and a current RN license; multiple certifications may be required by unit, including BLS, ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, PALS, and C-EFM as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support completed or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and protects patient rights and confidentiality.
