Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; various unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Basic Life Support certification required; many related certifications may be needed depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
