Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process. You will uphold patient rights, maintain confidentiality, and work with the care team to coordinate treatment across departments.

Requires RN license in the state or compact, and graduation from an approved nursing program. BLS is required; many units may require ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, and other certifications.

Qualifications

• RN required with license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE or related certifications may be required.
• Position may require additional unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
