Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in New Jersey. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care for a diverse patient population, communicate with the care team, and focus on safe, patient-centered outcomes.

You will administer medications, collaborate with clinicians, and support transitions from admission to discharge while maintaining high patient satisfaction and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six months or more of nursing experience or active Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Strong teamwork, accountability and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards for diverse patients.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families and health-care team about status and care plans.
• Ensure optimal patient satisfaction and care experience per Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Administer medications using up-to-date clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care to optimize health and disease management.
• Collaborate across disciplines from admission to discharge to ensure safe transition of care.
