Qualifications

• RN license in state(s) where practice is provided.

• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically.
• Active knowledge of safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and improvement of care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate documentation in the EHR.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Adheres to age-specific patient care requirements and developmental considerations.
