Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. The role includes supervising staff, directing care, and evaluating nursing practice to meet patient goals.

The position requires a nursing degree, AZ RN license, CPR, ACLS as applicable, and may require additional certifications such as PALS/NRP based on department. Prior NICU criteria are noted in the qualifications.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data.
• Sets practical, realistic outcome goals and guides patient in achieving them.
• Individualizes the plan of care based on patient needs.
• Implements nursing and medical orders ensuring appropriateness to current status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
