Job summary

St. Marys Hospital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

You will coordinate care with multi-disciplinary teams, follow physician and nursing orders, and contribute to discharge planning while maintaining high standards of safety and documentation. The role requires an active RN license (Arizona or compact) and BLS certification, with a preference for BSN and ACLS/PALS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience.
• Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• BLS certification (mandatory); ACLS/PALS preferred by department.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans and communicates patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders; coordinates discharge planning with the care team.
• Provides medication administration and patient/family education; ensures patient safety and documentation.
