Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with active license.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.
• Current Arizona nursing license or compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and other dept. specific certifications preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Coordinates care with all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Initial, re-assessment and focused assessments as needed.
• Establishes daily goals with patient and family; develops plan of care.
• Administers medications and ensures patient safety.
• Documents care in the medical record and updates care plans.
• Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts care as needed.
