Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: One year as an RN.
• Licensure/Certifications: Arizona Nursing License or compact state license; Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans and records patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator of disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Documentation of care and patient education.
• Ensures patient safety and medication administration.
